We had a nice experience at this coffee shop. We were looking for a local coffee shop to hang out at for a while, and this one was nice. The coffee was good however the atmosphere when we went was a little loud, but we didn’t mind too much. The staff was also lovely and accommodating.
My favorite local coffee shop, hands down. Beyond the amazing coffee the staff is always so pleasant. Brittany the owner is a true gem. Not only will you leave caffeinated but your spirit will be heightened from the beautiful energy of the shop.
My family and I was looking for a place to get delicious coffee and we found this cute little coffeehouse. When we walked in the ladies greeted us with a friendly smile and took our orders. They provided excellent customer service. We ordered the coffee and one of their chocolate chip cookies that was very delicious!!! I rate this place a perfect 10. The customer service, the friendly smile, the delicious cookie and the amazing coffee. !!! This is a must have! I strongly recommend for you to stop by. God bless you guys always.
Grounded is such a great spot for coffee & baked goods (try the cookie cake, they make them custom for special occasions) everyone here is really friendly & welcoming. Coming from Australia, I am a bit of a coffee snob & I have to say, this is the best latte I’ve found in CDM for sure!
Stopped in randomly after a long beach day...Needed some caffeine before jumping in 2 hours of traffic. Had no idea what to get, the chick at the counter was very helpful and patient. Ordered 4 different drinks and they all were Excellent. Birthday cake latte was a hit with the kidos....Like the Terminator, "I'll be back"
We were looking for a good coffee shop while in the Newport area. Well we found an amazing coffee shop when we found Grounded Coffee. The Bakery items (at least the cookies) are made in-house. The coffee was amazing and we even picked up some beans. It was the only coffee spot we went to all week (had to go back each day),

Grounded Coffeehouse in Newport Beach is a hidden gem! Had a great experience with Abby and Nick as well as its founder (Brittany). I was displaced from the LA fires and they offered me a discount. I had their Matcha tea with a shot of espresso, and it was absolutely incredible—perfectly creamy with a rich, earthy flavor that was so satisfying. The cafe itself is stylish and inviting, with a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The staff are friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better.
